One in every three Covid patients put on ventilator experience symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a new research by Imperial College London and University of Southampton has found. The study sheds light on the impact of Covid-19 on mental health. It noted that 18% of hospitalised patients, without a ventilator, also showed PTSD symptoms. The study was conducted in May 2020 on over 13,000 patients with suspected or confirmed Covid-19.
