Ever since the beginning of Covid pandemic, we have heard multiple stories of hardships, sufferings and sorrow.

However, in a rather heartening incident, a man from Uttat Pradesh's Meerut has been discharged from the hospital after fighting a hard and long battle with the disease.

Vishwas Saini, 39, tested positive on April 28 and was initially kept in home isolation but had to be put on ventilator support for a month as his condition worsened.

Speaking to ANI, his doctor said, 'His condition was so bad at a time that we were not expecting a positive outcome'.

Saini has visible scar marks on his face after being discharged due to oxygen masks and other treatment equipment.
