A raid on a cruise ship rave party where some from Bollywood were among the guests has put the spotlight again on the film industry's drug tales.

The issue exploded with the death by suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput last year. The probe opened the Bollywood can of weed.

Top Bollywood actors like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Arjun Rampal have been among some already interrogated in connection with the drug case and well, things haven't really died down since.

In June this year, Nashik Rural Police arrested 22 people at a rave party. These included at least four from Bollywood. One of them had been a contestant in Bigg Boss. Cocaine and other drugs were recovered from the venue.

In June 2019, a prominent Bollywood actress was among those arrested in a police raid on a rave party at a posh seaside bungalow in Raigad, 100 km from Mumbai.

In 2012 Mumbai Police held over a 100 people, which included several celebrities and cricketers, after raiding a rave party at a hotel. Over 80 tested positive for drugs, including cricketer Rahul Sharma and TV actress Shilpa Agnihotri.
