Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra, who is accused of ploughing over farmers in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri was sent in the police custody for three-days from Monday.

Ashish Mishra was arrested on Saturday after being questioned for over 12 hours in Lakhimpur Kheri while the police had maintained that he was giving ‘evasive answers’ and not cooperating.
Ashish Mishra’s arrest came five days after he was named as an accused in the eight deaths that took place in Lakhimpur Kheri.
