US: restaurant owner offers burglar a job rather than filing police case

Apr 12, 2021 20:55 IST | By Editorji News Desk

A man in Georgia is winning the internet for offering a job to the man who vandalized his restaurant.

Carl Wallace, the owner of Diablo’s Southwest Grill in Augusta was taken aback when he reached his eatery to see the glass of the front door shattered.

A screenshot of the surveillance footage showed a thief walking away with the cash register.

Wallace admitted during a CNN interview that 'anger' was his first reaction. However, he had a change of heart later. He extended his generous arms and in a Facebook post offered a job to the burglar.
