Youngest to give Ted talk: 7-yr-old Molly Wright explains how 'game of peek-a-boo can change the world'

Jul 25, 2021 20:31 IST | By Editorji News Desk

A game of peek-a-boo can change the world! This is what a 7-year-old kid from Australia's Queensland feels.

Molly Wright who became one of the youngest people to give a Ted talk was accompanied by her 1-year-old friend Ari and his father Amarjot to help in explaining to the audience her philosophy on life.

Discussing the importance of early years, she spoke about some powerful things that grown-ups can do to shape children at an early age as a child's brain reaches 90% of an adult brain by the age of 7.

Wright said that kids should learn different life skills and doing 5 things namely connecting, talking, playing healthy home and community can give kids a great start.

Explaining her philosophy of how 'peek a boo' works, the kid said that 'every moment together is an opportunity to talk and play, imagine the difference we could make if everyone did this to us, children. It is so emotional than just a game. it is our future.'
